Patent Trolls in Singapore? the Vuestar Saga
In May 2008, Vuestar sent invoices to Singapore websites asking for licensing fees for use of the “Vuestar System”. The “License fee” demanded appeared to depend on web traffic and “extent of image hyperlinking”.

Chong Yee gave a series of three 3 hour lectures on Biotech Patent Law and Practice to students on the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property (GCIP) course March 2009. The GCIP course is jointly organised by the IP Academy, Singapore and Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore.
Fellowship of Inventors: Talks on Patent Infringement
Chong Yee gave two talks in February to the Singapore Fellowship of Inventors on patent infringement. The overall title of the talks was “David vs Goliath - The Infringement War”.
