IPOS has suspended the acceptance of new acceleration requests under the SG Patents Fast and SG Trade Marks Fast programmes with effect from 4 January 2026, pending a review.

The 21st General Assembly 77th and 78th APAA Council Meetings of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) will be held in Kuala Lumpur from 6 to 10 November 2025, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dr Chong-Yee Khoo will be attending the conference to meet with our colleagues, clients and associates.

The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore has announced major revisions to the official fees payable for patents, trade marks, registered designs and plant varieties matters at the Singapore IP office from Q3 2025.

The changes are generally effective 1 September 2025, with some changes taking effect on 1 April 2026.
