The London Agreement is now in force, providing for the potential to reduce the translation costs for validating a European patent.

WIPO has finally approved its budget for the 2008/2009 financial year. One of the consequences appears to be a big reduction in the International Filing Fee after July 2008 for applicants/inventors who are Singapore residents or nationals.

Dr Khoo Chong Yee will be attending the PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) Asia 2008 Conference, held on 21st-22nd April 2008 at Biopolis.

Dr Khoo Chong Yee is conducting an IP clinic with other IP practitioners, as part of the “IP Consult” series organised by the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS).

Representatives from Cantab IP will be attending the BioMedical Asia 2008 / BioLicensing Asia 2008 Conference, held at Suntec City from 14th to 17th April 2008.
