One of the nicest things about the INTA Annual Meeting is being able to meet friends and colleagues at smallish get-togethers, where there is an opportunity to speak properly to another person and to find out what they think about the world.

If you like this sort of thing, please come along to the INTA Tweetup this year.

Details of the event are as follow:

  • Date: 21 May 2018 (Monday)

  • Time: from 1:30 pm to 3 pm or so

  • Venue: to be announced

What is the INTA Tweetup?

The INTA Tweetup is a small, informal gathering where you get to meet and chat to fellow social media users over a cup of coffee.

It’s been described as “the least pretentious gathering” at the INTA Annual Meeting in San Diego.

Everyone has a nice, relaxing time and a chance to put their feet up before getting back to the craziness of the Annual Meeting.

These tweets and photos from previous Tweetups will give you some idea of what to expect.

The event is open to everyone, and there is no fee to attend.

What time is the Tweetup at INTA Seattle?

This year, we are meeting at 1:30 pm (1300 hours) on Monday 21 May 2018. We expect the Tweetup to go on until about 3 pm or so.

During this time, please feel free to drop in and out as and when.

Where will the Tweetup be held?

We’re finalising the location for the Tweetup, and the venue will be announced here. It will likely be somewhere near the Convention Centre and within walking distance of it.

Past Tweetups have been held at a Starbucks, a fancy private town club, open air in a park and in an ice cream parlour.

Sounds wonderful. How do I sign up?

If you’re thinking of attending, please sign up at the INTA Tweetup 2018 Seattle event page. See you there!
