Attending the APAA 2025 Conference in Kuala Lumpur
I’m pleased to say that I’ll be attending the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) 2025 Conference in Kuala Lumpur this November.
The APAA Conference is one of the most significant gatherings on the intellectual property calendar, bringing together leading patent attorneys, trade mark attorneys, in-house counsel and other professionals from across the Asia-Pacific and countries around the world. It provides a valuable forum to exchange knowledge, explore developments in intellectual property law and strengthen professional networks.
It is always a pleasure to return to Kuala Lumpur, a city that combines modern energy with a rich cultural heritage. I look forward to experiencing the warmth of Malaysian hospitality and to enjoying the wonderful and diverse cuisine the country has to offer. These elements, alongside the professional programme, make APAA conferences both memorable and rewarding occasions.
The 2025 meeting will feature the 21st General Assembly and the 77th and 78th Council Meetings, alongside a full programme of committee sessions, academic panels and networking events. Discussions will cover the latest developments in patents, trade marks and IP enforcement, with contributions from practitioners representing a wide range of jurisdictions and industries.
I look forward very much to reconnecting with friends, meeting new colleagues and contributing to the discussions. Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a meeting during the conference.
